Sustainability

Keeping it simple.

Conscious creation.

The Terra Luna universe is devoid of unnecessary frills. It is minimal, conscientious and deep-rooted to nature and the environment — the central focus being the garment itself. It defies seasonality with pieces luxuriously fashioned from sustainable fabrics. Every garment is thoughtfully designed to feel good, look good and do good. The result is a collection of clothing that is stylish, responsibly made and down to earth.

Our fabric.

It takes an entire village.

Our khadi is hand spun by over 250 local artisans in Amreli — a region reputed for its purity of textiles. The roving, spinning and weaving is all done in homes with the help of their family members. The fabric is directly sourced from the Sarvodaya Sewa Samiti in Gujarat — recognized by the Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC) that nurtures employment and the economic sustenance of rural India. Khadi leaves a zero carbon footprint as it is handcrafted on non-electric spinning wheels and looms.

GOTS, IS 8000, Oeko-Tex and KVIC

Naturally certified by the best.

We take pride in being an ethical manufacturer from field to fashion. Strictly adhering to ecological criteria and being ever mindful of our processes to meet changing global standards. We’ve been awarded the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certificate, the most prestigious processing standard recognized the world over. Our textile factory, Ranger Apparel Export Private Ltd. is also SA 8000 certified and all products carry the Oeko-Tex and AZO-Free seals.

Making a difference.

Every little detail counts.

We pay great attention to every little detail to ensure you get clothes that are an absolute delight to own. Besides the hand spun yarn and handwoven fabrics that we use for our garments, all our hand-stitched labels are made from recycled yarns. Some of our buttons are fashioned from organic coconut shell. And our packaging and tags are made from recycled paper. The result is a responsibly designed piece of clothing that supports tradition and the environment as much as it does your sense of style.
